An excerpt from my book “The Open Door Glory”
The Veil of His Body
This is the fresh, new, life giving way that Christ the Rock has opened up for us by tearing the curtain – veil of his human body, to let us enter into and to abide in the holy of holies of the Glory presence of Daddy God forever.”
Hebrews 10:20 PAV
It is the Cross of Calvary where the Veil of His Body is Pierced and the Veil of the Temple was torn.
“And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent…” Matthew 27:51 (Mark 15:38; Luke 23:45)
The veil of the Tabernacle or the Temple was the partition that separated the Holy Place from the Holy of Holies were the Ark of the Covenant dwelt. Under the Old Covenant no one could enter the Holy of Holies but the High Priest. This veil symbolizes the Old Covenant and it’s ceremonial laws, rules and requirements; and it served as a reminded to man that he was too sinful to approach the Glory of God.
It was the Divider, the separator from the Glory-presence of Daddy God. It was prophesying the following warning, “Thus far and no further!”
The word veil really means “to hide”. Daddy God’s glory was hid from all men’s view, no face to face communion because the veil hid His glory, So too the Glory of Daddy God is hidden in Christ Jesus. In Exodus 26:31 the veil was made of fine linen of the colors of blue, purple, scarlet and decorated with cherubim. The veil prophetically speaks of the nature and redemptive work of Lord Jesus Christ.
~ The Fine linen: it was clean and white and it symbolizes the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus as the second and last Adam. And it also points the righteousness of the Bride of Christ.
“ In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this is his name whereby he shall be called, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.
“In those days shall Judah be saved, and Jerusalem shall dwell safely: and this is the name wherewith She (Ecclesia, the Bride of Christ) shall be called, The LORD our righteousness .
Jeremiah 33:16 (Rev.19:7-8)
“For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.”
2 Corinthians 5:21(1 Corin. 1:30)
Linen is made from cellulose fibers that grow inside the plant called Linum usitatssimu a flax plant. And Jesus Christ he too has the righteousness of Daddy within Him.
The linen was to be white, it prophetically represents the gospel of Luke which depicts Jesus Christ as the Son of Adam, the Sinless Man. (1 Corin. 15:45)
~ The color Blue: it speaks of heaven, the origin of second and last Adam as the Lord from heaven who came to bring Heaven’s Glory into the earth through his redemptive work of His passion to parousia. (Rom.9:28; John 1:1-3, 14-18)
“The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.”
1 Corinthians 15:47
“Open up, O ancient doors, and let the King of Glory in. Who is this King of Glory? The Lord, strong and mighty, invincible in battle. Yes, open wide the gates of the city of God and let the King of Glory in! Who is this King of Glory? The Lord Jesus Christ, The Commander of all of heaven’s armies!”
Psalm 24:7-10 PAV
Blue prophetically represents the gospel of John which depicts Jesus Christ as the Son of God, the Heavenly Man.
“And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above : ye are of this world; I am not of this world.”
He is our heavenly High Priest. (Heb.7:26) He is our heavenly Bread of Life. (John 6:32, 35 & 48)
The Heavenly Son of God became the Earthly Son of Man so that the sons of men could become the sons of God. (John 1:12; Rom. 8:14; 1 John 3:1 & 2a)
~ The color Purple: it speaks of royalty and kingship and dominion. Kings and royals were the only ones allowed to be clothed in purple. Purple is the blending of blue/the heavenly and scarlet/the blood sacrifice.
It is in Christ that there is the blending of the two natures 100% Divine and 100% Human. The Son of God and of the Son of Man, Theóánthropos, the God/Man. This makes him to be the only Mediator between Daddy God and man. The Lord Jesus Christ is the only one who is King of Heaven and Earth.
It is Christ the Lord who is the Royal God / Man who can sit upon the Throne of David
“He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.”
“But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a scepter of righteousness is the scepter of thy kingdom.” Hebrews 1:8
Purple symbolizes the eternal position of the power of the throne and the scepter of authority of King of kings and His Eternal Kingdom. (Daniel 7:13, 14) It also symbolizes the Eternal King-Priesthood of the Lord Jesus Christ. (Zech. 6:9-15; Heb. 7)
Purple prophetically represents the gospel of Matthew as the Son of David, the Royal Man. Who showed mercy as a king and healed delivered many. (Matt. 1:1; 9:27; 15:22; 20:31 & 32; Mark 10:47 & 48)
It also represents the Lord Jesus Christ as The Seed of David. (John 7:42; Romans 1:3; 2 Timothy 2:8)
“For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.”
2 Peter 1:11
~ The color Scarlet: it speaks of the sacrifice and sacrificial blood of the Lamb of God that would take away the sins of the world.
“Behold the Lamb of God , which taketh away the sin of the world.”
We are redeemed through His sacrificial blood from the Cross of Calvary.
“Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:”
1 Peter 1:18-19
“In whom we have redemption through His blood, even the forgiveness of sins…”
“…And have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.”
“Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet , they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.”
We are granted access into the Holy of Holies of His Glory by the His blood.
“Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus…”
We are reconciled to Daddy God by the blood.
“But now you belong to the Lord Christ Jesus, and though you once were far away from Daddy God, now you have been brought very near to him because of what Jesus Christ has done for you with his blood.”
Ephesians 2:13-14 PAV
We overcome by His Blood.
“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb , and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.”
We are cleansed by His blood.
“…And the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.”
We are justified and protected by His blood.
“Much more then, being now justified by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath through Him.”
We are sanctified with His blood.
“Wherefore Jesus also, that he mighty sanctify the people with His own blood…”
And because we are justified and sanctified by and through His precious blood we are now being glorified with His divine nature of Glory. (Rom.8:30; 2 Corin. 3:18; 2 Thess. 1:10; 2 Peter 1:3 & 4)
Scarlet prophetically represents the gospel of Mark as the Son of Man, the Servant Man. Who came to serve as the Lamb of God that would remove the sins of the whole world by the shedding of His blood. (John 1:29 & Isaiah 53)
“For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve , and to give his life as a ransom for many.”
Mark 10:45 NIV
We are to follow his example and serve God and others.
“If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.”
“To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood, and has made us to be a kingdom and priests to serve his God and Father — to him be glory and power for ever and ever! Amen.”
Revelation 1:6 NIV
“You, my brothers, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the sinful nature; rather, serve one another in love. The entire law is summed up in a single command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”
Galatians 5:13-14 NIV
“Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.”
“Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.” 1 John 3:16
“Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.”
~ The Cherubim: were interwoven into the fine linen of the veil, this prophetically spoke of Daddy God and the Holy Spirit manifesting the glorious Divine nature and attributes of the Godhead in the birth, life, death, burial, resurrection, ascension and parousia of the Lord Jesus Christ.
“ For it pleased the Father that in him should all fullness dwell…”
“For in Jesus Christ there is all of Daddy God in a human body; so you have everything when you have Jesus Christ, and you are filled with Daddy God through your union with Jesus Christ. He is the highest Ruler, with authority over every other power. Period! ”
Colossians 2:9, 10 PAV
The Cherubim with the flaming swords were the guardians of the Door into the garden of Eden. I believe that Adam male and female were the covering Cherub that covered and guarded the garden of Eden and walk in the midst of stones of the glory –fire but lost it when they sin against Daddy God. But now we believers are the cherubim that guard and show the way back into the garden of His Glory with the Flaming Sword of His word. (Re-read Ezekiel 28:13-19; Eph. 6:13-18; Heb.4:12)
“ And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation…”
2 Corinthians 5:18
“Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not; But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God.
2 Corinthians 4:1-2
The Renting of the Veil
On the cross of Calvary when Jesus Christ cried out “It is finished!” and “Father into thy hands I command my spirit!’. He died and immediately the 60 foot tall veil in the temple was torn into two from the top to the bottom, prophetically showing that it was torn from the hands of Daddy God. (John 19:30; Luke 23:46; Matthew 27:51)
This prophetic act shows the following veils being torn and removed so that all men are granted access to the Glory of the Father through the Veil /Door Christ.
~ The veil of Sin
“He, Jesus Christ came once for all, at the end of the old covenant age, to put away the power of the veil sin forever by dying for us on His cross.” Hebrews 9:26 PAV
“ But he was wounded for our transgressions…”
The word wounded in the Hebrew is the word “chalal” meaning “to break one’s word, to open a wedge, to profanely be torn open”. So it should read as the following…
“But He was Torn for our transgressions…”
Isaiah 53:5 PAV
This veil was removed by the tearing of his flesh.
~ The veil of Death
“ And he will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering cast over all people, and the veil that is spread over all nations. He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the LORD hath spoken it.”
Isaiah 25:7-8 (1Corinthians 15:53-56)
The veil of death is the spiritual death of separation from Daddy God, it was inherited upon all humanity when Adam male and female fell.
“Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:”
In His flesh the Lord Jesus Christ swallowed up the veil of death in the victory of the Cross.
~ The Veil of the Old Covenant / Law
“Yes, even today when they read Moses’ writings their hearts are blind and they think that obeying the Ten Commandments is the way to be saved.
“But whenever anyone turns to the Lord from his sins, then the veil is taken away.
The Lord is the Spirit who gives them life, and where he is there is freedom [from trying to be saved by keeping the laws of God].
But we Christians have no veil over our faces; we can be mirrors that brightly reflect the glory of the Lord. And as the Spirit of the Lord works within us, we become more and more like him.
2 Corinthians 3:15-18 TLB
The veil of the Law was the ministration of death and condemnation. (2 Corin. 3:7 & 9)
“In that he saith, A new covenant , he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.”
The Old Covenant Veil now has become obsolete, or torn away. Now the law of New Covenant is written upon the hearts and minds of men. (Romans 7:4)
“This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them; And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more. Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin. Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh”
The renting of this veil abolished the requirements of it’s rituals and ceremonial animal sacrifices.
“ First he said, “Sacrifices and offerings, burnt offerings and sin offerings you did not desire, nor were you pleased with them” (although the law required them to be made). Then he said, “Here I am, I have come to do your will.” He sets aside the first to establish the second. And by that will, we have been made holy through the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.”
Hebrews 10:8-10 NIV
Not only does it signify the removal and blotting out of the condemnation and curse of the veil of the Law. But also the renting of this veil is also the ultimate sign of Victory over the kingdom of darkness.
“…For he, Daddy God forgave all of your sins, and blotted out the charges proved against you, the list of his commandments which you had not obeyed, having canceled the written code, with its regulations, that was against us and that stood opposed to us; He took this list of sins and destroyed it by nailing it to Christ’s torn flesh in the cross. In this way Daddy God took away Satan’s power to accuse you of sin, and Daddy God openly displayed to the whole world Christ’s triumph over the kingdom of darkness at the cross where your sins were all taken away.”
Colossians 2:13-15 PAV (Galatians 3:13)
The renting of the veil of the Law revealed the Lord Jesus Christ, Emmanuel, God with us.
“ For Christ is the end of the Law [the limit at which it ceases to be, for the Law leads up to Him Who is the fulfillment of its types, and in Him the purpose which it was designed to accomplish is fulfilled. That is, the purpose of the Law is fulfilled in Him] as the means of righteousness (right relationship to Daddy God) for everyone who trusts in and adheres to and relies on Him.”
Romans 10:4 AMP
~ The veil of Partition between Humanity
“ For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us; Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace”
Between Jew and Gentiles
“For Christ himself is our way of peace. He has made peace between us Jews and you Gentiles by making us all one family, breaking down the veil-wall of contempt that used to separate us. By his death he ended the angry resentment between us, caused by the Jewish laws that favored the Jews and excluded the Gentiles, for he died to annul that whole system of Jewish laws. Then he took the two groups that had been opposed to each other and made them parts of himself; thus he fused us together to become one new person, and at last there was peace.”
Ephesians 2:14-15 TLB
Between bond and free, male and female.
“ There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.”
~ The veil of Poverty
“ You know how full of love and kindness our Lord Jesus was: though he was so very rich, yet to help you he became poor and took upon himself poverty in the tearing of his flesh on His cross, so that by being poor he could make you rich.”
2 Corinthians 8:9 PAV
“Adam’s one sin brought the penalty of death to many, but Christ removes all sins and he gives us access into a glorious prosperous life through the torn veil of his flesh on the cross.”
Romans 5:16 PAV
You’re Dead to Me!
In the Jewish culture there is a tradition or custom called Kriah a Hebrew word meaning “tearing one’s clothes or collars.” This was an act done out of mourning of the death of a loved one. It was also done as symbolic act of death for someone whom one would consider dead to his or her relationship or in other words it was saying you’re “Dead to Me!”
Kriah is an ancient tradition. When Jacob believed that his son Joseph was dead, he tore his garments (Gen. 37:34). Likewise, in 2 Samuel 1:11 we are told that King David and all the men with him took hold of their clothes and rent them upon hearing of the death of King Saul and Jonathan. Job, too, in grieving for his children, stood up and rent his clothes (Job 1:20)
In the gospel of Matthew 26:65 and Mark 14:63, after questioning Jesus to see if he was the Messiah the High Priest Caiaphas tore his garments in response to Jesus’ answer. Along with Caiaphas the whole Mafioso priests were basically saying to Jesus “You’re a Dead Man!”
So in response, at the moment of the crucifixion of the Lord Jesus Christ, Daddy God tore the veil of the Temple from top to bottom and he was saying in other words “You reject my Son! So I Reject You! YOU ARE DEAD TO ME! (Matthew 27:51 & Luke 24:45) He is the Door that closed on the Old Covenant dispensation and He is the Open Door to the New Covenant dispensation.
Daddy God ripped the Veil in the temple! This tearing was a prophetic act that the Old Covenantal system priesthood, temple and it ceremonial form of worship was now and forever dead and rejected by Daddy God.
The Son left the Veil in the tomb! (John 20:6, 7) The head veil / death veil that is place upon the dead when buried in the tomb. This word head veil is the Hebrew word “lot” the very name of Abraham’s nephew. This veil causes death to spiritual senses of sight, smell, taste/communication and hearing to be obstructed. And Daddy God didn’t communicate with Abraham until he separated from Lot, the head veil of death. (Genesis 13:14) But now through Christ casting off this veil we have the divine ability to spiritually see, hear, taste and smell the things of his kingdom and glory. (Ps.34:8; 1 Corin. 2:9-13)
And the Holy Spirit ripped the Veil of the flesh on the Day of Pentecost. (Acts 1:15 & 2) The number 120 in the Hebrew means “The end or ripping of the veil of the flesh.” The renting of the Veil of His flesh is the only Open Door of Glory to Father God, the Victorious Kingdom and Heaven.
“I am the only Way, the only Truth, and the only Life: and no person can come to God the Father and His Kingdom, but by Me.”
John 14:6 PAV
~ “The Way we approach Daddy God is forever established in the Person and the fulfilled work of the Lord Jesus Christ the Son. The Son is the only Truth because He is the only one that uniquely reveals Daddy God. The Truth, Christ is the Life who became Man so that we may have Life, and as He is our Life, not even death can stop us from coming to Him. Only in the Lord Jesus Christ can one come to know Daddy God, because only in the Lord Jesus Christ is the Way of all Truth and all Life found.” (Excerpt from The Orthodox Study Bible by Thomas Nelson, Inc. page 1453 of the gospel of John 14:6, Revised and edited by Lauro R. Adame )
